By placing this steamer basket into boiling water, oil or soup stock, you can cook healthy steamed vegetables, steamed lobsters or fry fish in a matter of minutes. The hot water or oil seeps through the perforations and cooks food quickly so the nutrients don't let lost in the boiling process. This aluminum steamer basket offers excellent heat conductivity and is easy to clean and maintain.
